Hindu Culture's values, beliefs, and norms

In Hindu culture, the long, well-planned ceremonies show dedication and value placed into marriage. Family and the extension of family is seemingly paramount because they believe that with marriage comes financial opportunity and economic gain, something that is further exemplified in often arranged marriages. The marriage ceremony exhibited by the Ashkenazi Jews places emphasis on their religion, they believe that their God is all-powerful and knowing, which could be why they adhere to long standing traditions, in fear of retribution.
